The HCYA volleyball program
strives to develop Christian character and leadership in team members
both on and off the court. The teams are coached by knowledgeable and
competent coaches who are dedicated to teaching the skills needed for
competitive volleyball, but who also demonstrate and encourage
Christian values and sportsmanship. The HCYA Lady Eagle Volleyball
program is directed by Mrs. Mary Schulze (
)
Our Coaches
Mrs. Veronica Warner
returns as Head Coach of the HCYA Lady Eagles. Her effective,
organized approach to teaching and sharing her skills has been a
positive and successful part of our volleyball program. Her
commitment, values, dedication and Godly character are evident on and
off the court. She has college volleyball playing experience. She
and her husband, Randy, homeschool two daughters. Our coaching
staff consists of volunteer dads, with playing and coaching experience, as
well as former HCYA players, who have enthusiasm for the game and a desire
to help your daughter(s) have a positive volleyball experience.

The Houston Jrs. Gym
is located on the NE feeder side of Beltway 8, near the intersection of
I-10 and the Beltway.
Coming from the
South on the Beltway, take the Town and Country exit, stay on the feeder
which goes under I-10. Just past the light at Westview, there will be
the entrance on the right. There is a small sign, so drive slowly as not
to miss the driveway. Enter the building under the awning and we will
practice in the back gym in the facility.
Coming from the
North on the Beltway, take the Westview exit; Make a U-turn under
Beltway 8 (before the traffic light) and immediately proceed to the far
right lane. The gym will be on the right.
