The HCYA Raptors rugby program exists to provide Christian home schooled 5th - 12th grade boys (ages 10-18) with the benefits of participation in organized rugby in a setting that honors the God who created them.   The Raptors Team will play area schools throughout the winter/spring season.   Go Raptors!!  God is good!!

Pre-season strength and conditioning training begins in August for HS players at Prestige Strength Fitness (8572 Katy Fwy, #105)

Pre-season field practice begins in October for HS (Tues/Thurs/Sat) and in November for MS (Tues) players at Bendwood Park (12700 Kimberley Lane).

The regular season starts in January with approximately one game per week for both MS and HS.  Field practice continues for both age groups and the HS boys will also keep up with once a week gym workouts (Houston's First Baptist Church Fitness Center).

Team registration includes everything (coaching, gear, uniform, post game meals, etc.): $500 for HS, $400 for MS; Membership to HCYA is required ($30 annually).  Need-based financial aid is available.

Boys 10-13 (MS) and 14-18 (HS) (as of 9-1-25) are welcome to join our teams.  Prospective players may to practice with us for two weeks before officially joining the team with just your membership to HCYA.  If you'd like to come check us out, or have questions, please fill out our interest form.  See you on the pitch soon!
