Sports Day
HCYA Sports Day is an intramural physical education program for homeschool students from ages 6 through 18 that has been around for over 40 years. We meet twice a month on Friday mornings, and haves six huge indoor basketball courts that are divided up for sports and games.
2024-2025 DATES
Sports Day is from 8:30a-11:30a with drop off at 8:15a
Please pick up your kids promptly at 11:30!!
Or better yet, prayerfully consider staying and volunteering; we’ll be happy to find the perfect place for you.
A $10.00 fee may be charged for children not picked up by 12:00pm.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.

Expenses
Membership Fee: $20 (Click here to pay this fee)
Registration Fee: $15 per student
T-Shirt: $12
(shirts may be used for multiple years and purchased only when needed, but a Sports Day shirt is required to play)
Daily Fee: (this fee is paid each time you attend Sports Day and is NOT part of the registration - it's paid on site the morning you attend)
- Non-staff: $10 per student
- Volunteer/Staff: $5 per child (pay for a max two students)
Age Groups & Games Offered
Group divisions are based on the students age as of September 1st of the current school year.
(Students DO NOT change groups even if their birthday occurs during the school year,
NO EXCEPTIONS)
Sports Day is parent volunteer led.
FOR THE SAFETY OF THE KIDS,
if enough parents do not volunteer,
Sports Day CANNOT HAPPEN.

To register for Sports Day, please fill out the HCYA Membership Form
on the ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP page and pay your fees.
Once you complete that form, you will be able to access the
Sports Day Registration Page.

For more info on the games and how to play, please see attached PDF. If you have never been to Sports Day, this may be very beneficial for older children. Kids are expected to play by our rules. Other ways to play may be suggested, however it is up to the coach or teen staff if changes are made for one or more rounds of play. Keeping the rules the same each year keeps the play fair and the kids have more fun.

Sports Day allows students to attend ONE TIME ONLY as a guest.
Bring all guests to the Main Registration area at the Check-In table with the forms available at the link below.
- Medical release form MUST BE signed by a parent (not the person bringing the students).
- Fees: $10.00 daily fee, $6.00 T-Shirt Rental Fee ($3.00 will be returned at the end of the day when the shirt is returned).
